 Ocean
Survey Mapping Center of Shengli Oilfield was founded
in 1994. Its major business is to provide site survey
and positioning service |
for drilling rigs, submarine pipelines, marine
structures etc.. There are 15 senior and middle
technical hands in the center with more than 5 million
fixed assets. The special survey equipments include
dual frequency GPS, digital sub-bottom profiler,
side scan sonar, single and dual frequency depth
sounder, submarine pipeline buried depth detector,
multi-parameter water quality monitor etc.. In 1999,
it was certified as the Second Grade Reconnaissance
Mapping Team by the Mapping Bureau of Shandong Province.
The certification number is 3705003. In the past
years, the center has provided site survey for more
than 90 wells and over 100 times of navigation,
positioning for drilling rigs.
Its clients include EDC, Apache, and Kerr McGee.
